Betty TV apoints Emma Read-Wilson as Head of Production

Appointing their first Head of Production in five years, Emma Read-Wilson will be joining the Objective Media Group company as it becomes Betty TV with a new website and logo.
Starting the role in May, Emma comes to Betty TV from Bandicoot where she was Head of Production. Previously Emma was OMG’s Production Executive, overseeing unscripted productions and development output across the group’s entertainment and factual entertainment labels, looking after shows like The Cube, Lingo, Flirty Dancing and Gordon, Gino & Fred’s Road Trip. Prior to her time at OMG Emma worked at Shine and ITV in the UK as well as spending six years in Australia at Fremantle and Shine Australia, working from development through to production on various international formats including The Mole, X Factor and Top Gear.
Emma said, “I have always loved Betty TV’s output and I’m excited to help Helen, David and the team further strengthen their reputation as they deliver compelling formats that grab the attention of viewers.”

Betty TV’s current productions include Discovery’s Wheeler Dealers; the Canard co-production Fred’s Last Resort for E4, and Channel 4’s Naked Education.
