Netflix UK Commissions 'Legends' from Tannadice Pictures

Netflix announces an exciting new series from BAFTA-winning writer Neil Forsyth (The Gold, Guilt) Legends, produced by Tannadice Pictures (The Gold). Legends is a six-part high-stakes, thrilling drama series inspired by one of the most remarkable criminal investigations ever conducted. Based on extensive research and interviews with those involved, the story follows an unlikely group of British Customs employees sent undercover to infiltrate some of the country’s most dangerous criminal drug gangs.

They were not trained spies, they were ordinary men and women, plucked from ordinary lives around the U.K, put through a basic training regime then told to build new identities in the criminal underworld. These identities were called Legends.

The series will be Executive Produced by Neil Forsyth alongside Ben Farrell (Objective Fiction) and Richard Bradley for Lion Television, and produced by Charlie Leech.
