Objective Entertainment appoints Head of Development

Objective Media Group’s newly formed unscripted label Objective Entertainment has appointed John Lomax as its Head of Development.

Starting in February, Lomax joins from 12 Yard, to take charge of the label’s next generation of ambitious entertainment and reality formats for the UK and international markets.

Lomax said, “I’m so excited to get started at Objective Entertainment in my absolute dream role. The team here have the combined talent, experience and passion to deliver on the really ambitious ideas we’re going to be creating. I can’t wait to get pitching!”

Objective Entertainment’s Managing Director Neale Simpson added, “John is outrageously talented and lights up a room with his enthusiasm for ideas. We can’t wait for him to bring his irresistible energy to our creative ambitions.”

Over his decade long tenure at 12 Yard Lomax established a track-record of securing commissions across multiple genres and channels, including the upcoming reality dating series Cheat: Unfinished Business w/t (Netflix), the comedy entertainment show I'll Get This (BBC2), the stand-up format Comedians Giving Lectures (Dave) and the reversioning of the international dating format The Cabins (ITV2).

Sitting within All3Media’s OMG, Objective Entertainment was launched in 2024. Current titles include the third series of Alan Carr’s Picture Slam, Lingo, The Only Way is Essex and Celebs Go Dating.
