Gastronuts

The series shows children what amazing foods are available that we could be eating but don’t and how the food we do eat is grown, made, shaped and marketed. Each week host and food adventurer Stefan Gates, (Cooking In The Danger Zone, BBC 2) and a team of junior Gastronuts go on a culinary roller-coaster ride answering questions such as ‘Should We Eat Insects?’ ‘Why Don’t We Eat Turkey Eggs?’ and ‘What Would Happen If I Didn’t Fart?’.

After years of being told not to play with their food, Gastronuts is the show that tells kids to do the exact opposite.
